On 01st April 2025 at the presence of Mrs Laura Colnaghi Calissoni, President of Carvico S.p.A. Group, Mr Filippo Colnaghi Shareholder of Carvico Group, H.E. Marco Della Seta – Italian Ambassador to Vietnam along with the Board of Directors of Hung Yen Knitting and Dyeing Ms Claudia Anselmi and Mr Manuel Legramandi, Mr Phan Tien Dung General Director of VINATEX INTERNATIONAL JSC, Mr Vu Quoc Nghi Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Hung Yen Province and the representatives of the local authorities of Pho Noi Textile & Garment Industrial Park — Hung Yen Knitting & Dyeing officially broke down the starting off of the third productive block, marking the expansion of its industrial facility in the Province of Hung Yen.

Hung Yen Knitting & Dyeing Co. Ltd is the first overseas investment of Carvico Group which placed its milestone in Vietnam in October 2009. After 16 years of brilliant operational activity, the company earns today the remarkable position, as one of the textile manufacturing leaders in Southeast Asia, with unceased R&D activity in swimwear and sportswear’s fabrics, sustainable raw material’s innovations and governance on the territory and within its practices.

Chaired today by the President Laura Colnaghi Calissoni, Carvico Group has renewed its commitment to further invest in Vietnam. “Above all, the expansion of Hung Yen represents a deep connection of Carvico Group with Vietnam and its people, a union that went beyond the expected results and represents today a successful example of strategic industrial cooperation between two countries: Italy and Vietnam. We believed in this project from day one and thanks to the enthusiastic talent, sense of duty and great skills of the team of people that worked and works at Hung Yen, our will and trust to further commit to this project is proudly renovated today”. - Further increase the production capacity, in harmony with the territory – taking care of preserving vital natural resources, with the implementation of the latest technologies for water treatment and upcycling;
- Boosting the activity of the R&D and product development, in order to widen the range of product to more targeted and sophisticated applications;
- Recruitment and specialized technical training of the local workforce, contributing to building the organic growth and welfare of HungYenProvince.
